What the heck is the Vortex?

The vortex is another way of thinking about the susumna nadi – the central axis of energy within each of us where our pure positive energy resides.  Is it a place we can travel to?  Absolutely.  It is also the place where all solution and new creation resides before we see it in our manifested world.  Our vortex is constantly calling us towards it and when we let go of resistance through meditation, laughter, trust, ease, etc. we are taken into this place of power and we align with the solutions and expansions we are wanting.  This 10-minute talk followed by 10-minute meditation teaches us to power of the vortex and how to coax ourselves into this place of peace and power often.

Sacred Garden Meditation

Like the Tibetan Bardo state, the Sacred Garden is a mental/energetic place of empowerment.  It is a home for our consciousness to travel to, settle into, and create from.  As we develop and refine this “home-base” we more easily and effectively direct our meditation time.  It is from the Sacred Garden that we can journey to our future selves and pre-pave their experience.  It is from the Sacred Garden that we can call out to our ancestors and guides asking for support, clarity, or healing.  In this 20-minute meditation you are guided to create the journey to your Sacred Garden and build or refine the details of this inner space.  With repetition, this place of empowerment becomes your refuge and your launching pad for all inner journeys.

Flowing into Stillness

In this 45-minute podcast, Jennifer leads you through a simple 15-minute flow to settle the body-energy before meditation.  The meditation takes you on a tour of the chakras as aspects of your life experience.  For example, the root chakra represents our tribe and the fundamental principles we stand for.  How is your tribe right now?  Are you feeling connected, supported, rooted by common ethics and ideals?  Or are you feeling a fundamental discord with the people you spend most of your time with?  If there is discomfort around ideas of tribe and family, this indicates that the broader part of you has evolved to something new and is calling to you to “catch up”.  For each chakra, we feel for an active calling and allow space to receive the calling and any clear inspiration that may rise.  The end of the meditation invites you to choose the strongest calling and give it five minutes of creative exploration.

In this 12-minute talk we consider how the mixing up of diverse elements is what draws us into new clarity and actively calls us towards betterment or expansion.  So without contrast the flow of life would cease to be.  As we make peace with the messy contrast of our lives and allow it to clarify who we are becoming we relax more.  We trust that divine chaos is the order of the world and the pulse of challenges becoming opportunities and opportunities creating new challenges is meant to be an endless and joyful ride.  And as we sit to meditate we can come away from the idea that we need to fix our lives and soften into the flow and pulse that is natural.   As we understand that all creation rises from pure still energy we feel the power of our meditation as a time to align with the energy of the active calling that our contrast has created.  As we align with that energy and trust E=mc2 we know that inspired action and manifestation will rise from the focus of our new energy.

The central axis of our energetic essence is available to us always.  And yet it is rare to find a human being who travels consistently to this place of power.  By developing a clear vision of our vortex and deep understanding of its purpose we encourage ourselves to sit for meditation and visit this place of empowerment.  In this 12-minute talk Jennifer gives a clear description of the susumna nadi and the sun and moon channels that wind around it like the double helix of the DNA molecule.  She talks of contrast being the ignition of desire and therefore expansion.  The susumna is the place where all solutions arise and reside calling to us as we wrestle with the problems.  Through meditation we are seduced away from the nit picking of the problem and drawn into the energy of solution – the emotion of relief and satisfaction.  In this expansive energy the details needed to manifest the solution are offered freely and clearly.
